Welcome to Getbookd. By creating an account or using Getbookd, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. What Getbookd Is
Getbookd is a booking management platform for independent beauty professionals (hairstylists, nail artists, makeup artists, lash technicians, barbers, and similar). We provide software to manage appointments, services, and client bookings. We are not a party to, and do not control, the services performed between a beauty professional ("Stylist") and their client.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Getbookd is offered on a subscription basis, billed monthly at the price shown at checkout. There is no free trial. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. By subscribing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms as the payment processor. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account's billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Deposits Between Stylists and Clients
Some Stylists may require a deposit before confirming a booking. Any such deposit is paid directly by the client to the Stylist using payment details the Stylist provides. Getbookd does not process, hold, or have access to these funds, and is not responsible for disputes regarding deposits paid outside the platform.
5. Stylist Responsibilities
Stylists are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listed services, prices, availability, and for fulfilling appointments booked through Getbookd. Getbookd does not verify professional qualifications, licensing, or insurance.
6. Client Conduct
Clients booking through Getbookd agree to provide accurate contact details and to honor appointments made, or to cancel/reschedule with reasonable notice using the tools provided.
7. Content and Reviews
Reviews may only be submitted by clients with a completed, verified booking. Stylists may respond publicly to reviews. We reserve the right to remove content that is abusive, fraudulent, or violates these terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
Getbookd is provided "as is." We are not liable for disputes, damages, or losses arising from appointments, services rendered, or payments made between Stylists and clients.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Getbookd after changes means you accept the updated terms.
